The Tripod Li (三足鬲), similar in shape to The "Ding" (鼎), typically consists of two parts: the upper part being a round or square container, and the lower part having three hollow legs. The li is a primitive form of pottery that emerged in the late Neolithic period and was a primary cooking utensil. Its hollow legs helped expand the heating area, allowing food to cook faster. During the Shang and Zhou dynasties, bronze li appeared, gradually incorporating ritual functions in addition to their cooking uses. The author used the unique form of the Li, combined with the gold style of South American crocodile totems, to create a work with a distinctive style.
